About the Role
This is a permanent part-time role, 11am-6pm, Monday-Friday at our Wavell Heights (Brisbane north) childcare centre. Working alongside our team of educators, the successful candidate will be passionate about assisting with the smooth running of the centre by providing cleaning services that are second-to-none.
Our support staff are integral members of our operational teams, specifically responsible for cleaning the childcare facilities, including classrooms, child and adult amenities, common areas and offices.
Maintaining the highest possible standard of cleanliness and hygiene across the centre is paramount, with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising the safety of all members of our centre community.

Selection Criteria

- Previous experience as a cleaner in an education (school or early childhood) or commercial setting (essential).
- Appropriate knowledge of cleaning products, safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals, or willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow directions, policies and procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Strong Work Health and Safety focus.
- Flexible approach and attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Paid Blue card or willingness to obtain. Restricted persons need not apply.
